| 4/10/2008 Major website update. Well, now the 2008 summer season has begun and our cottage family is expanding so a site update was overdue. Boy was I rusty! Links not working, pictures lost, and no print-friendliness...oh no. My apologies if you were entangled in my latest cyberadventure...please don't hesitate to let me know if you find something that isn't working properly. I may not have found everything yet. |
| 4/1/2008 Zanzibar has a birthday. Our own Zanzibar, born here April 1, 2006 turns 2 years old today. He is a lovely spotted draft gelding who is gregarious and full of play. As he matures, guests will see Zanzibar as an employee of our very own CODC carriage service, which is in the planning and development phase at this time. Boy, does this guy need a job! |
| 3/27/2008 Bear's Den Demolition Approaches. The date looms ever closer when the structure now claiming the Bear's Den site will be removed to make way for our newest cottage. The Bear's Den will provide 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, fireplace, modern kitchen with brand new appliances, mud room, spa, and spacious deck overlooking our famous mountain views. What a gift from heaven. The Bear's Den will be available mid-June. Call for details. |
3/19/2008 Homestead flooring project. Last nail goes into the last board of the homestead floor. Bye Bye bare plywood! Hello hickory hardwood flooring. Looks fabulous with the new furniture and paint.
